Church2100 Amish Mennonite Fellowship is a new congregation, but not a new church or denomination. Amish Mennonite churches have continuously existed since 1536 AD, the year Menno Simons established his first fellowship. We continue to hold fast to his teachings today which include Love, Fellowship, Separation from the world, Hospitality, Good works, Servanthood, and support of the church and its members. We take Galatians 6:2 literally; “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ “
Church2100 was formed in part after our founder was deeply moved during a presidential debate. He watched how despondent parents detailed their struggles paying for childcare and daily necessities while working full time and the eager snake oil politicians promising deliverance in the form of increased tax incentives and refunds. In due time, the politicians were elected, but the relief was short lived. These same politicians made war against American energy independence and efficient sources of energy, promptly raising the price of consumer goods and services across the board. Soon the average parent was hurting more than ever. Their faith and trust in bigger and more government had failed them. However, just as Jesus modeled over 2000 years ago, we are apolitical and obedient to our government. As he taught, you will be taught how to live life free of dependency on circumstances and the government but will transcend daily stressors. You will learn that success, peace and joy is not dependent on politicians but exists when you have a healthy relationship with yourself, your God, the Church and others.
We further believe:
- The Holy Bible is God’s inspired Word and is infallible, inerrant, and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
- In the one living and true God, existing in perfect unity as three equally and fully divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God the Father sent his Son Jesus Christ to be the sacrifice for our sins, and once we have confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God the Holy Spirit lives inside of us. (John 17:3; Matthew 28:19-20; John 1:1-4; Acts 5:3-4)
- Salvation is by grace alone and not because of our good deeds; it is a free gift from God provided by Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on the cross and is received through faith. It is available to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. That faith is expressed through repentance of sin and baptism. (John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Romans 6:23; Luke 3:21-22; Mark 16:16; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38-41; 1 Peter 3:21; Acts 22:16)
- We believe that baptism and Communion are the two ordinances Christ has given His church. We believe in baptism as an outward sign of a previous inward transformation by God’s grace (i.e., believer’s baptism). We believe that the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a symbolic remembrance of the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. (Matt 3:13-17; 26:26-29; 28:18-20; Rom 6:1-4; I Cor 11:23-32)
- Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all who believe and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life. (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; 2 Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; 1 Peter 1:4).
- After living one life on earth, the unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to Hell where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the Fallen Angels (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8).
